Apprentley Aldi got 12,000 applications for 50 graduate jobs this year! Showing the competition out there and a recent study by the BBC has shown every graduate has to apply for at least 10 jobs before they are even considered. Apprently graduate job vacancies are down by 7%. Lucky that Pareto are seeing more and more graduate recruiters increasing their graduate intake this year.
The Association of Graduate Recruiters today also said: "Intense competition for graduate jobs means that more than three quarters of employers require at least a 2:1 degree grade". Lucky at Pareto that we don't screen on the classification of the degree result.
